When looking around the country for a place to relocate, 

weather was a top consideration.  The Grand Lake area has

the 4 seasons with summer and winter normally not extreme. 

The flowers begin to appear in February and the roses

have been known to be around into November.

Normally, the ground doesn't freeze, or if it does,

it thaws within a few days.  

Generally any snowfall is also gone within a few days.
