Langley is located in northeast OK in the foothills of the Ozarks within Mayes County and is approximately sixty miles from Tulsa. Langley is bordered on the south and east by the waters of Grand Lake O' The Cherokees and Grand River. The Town of Langley began due to the construction of Pensacola Dam across Grand River and was named for Oklahoma State Senator J. Howard Langley.
