after an incredibly hot summer enjoyed by people who actually like it hot,  now's the best time of the year for wandering around and checking out all of the activities this area has to offer.   when we moved here over 20 years ago, the lake area pretty much closed up after labor day. ..not so today...check out the attractions page for all that's going on ...there are 2 calendars of events on that page and also check links on area info page for additional info...enjoy 

After such a hot summer, we are looking at some incredibly beautiful fall weather.  There are all sorts of activities on the lake...check out the events calendars on the area info page to see what's going on...last weekend there were things to do all around the lake...same with this weekend including the classic boat show at Arrowhead Yacht Club...Enjoy the lake
